I cannot be the first person to wonder
If a cat’s life is the last stage before nirvana because
everyone likes cats,
at least a little bit.
Never mind the great sphinx.
If you act indifferently to this species
Most humans would consider you untrustworthy.
People who are mean to cats are immediately seen by the public as really bad, inhumane, villainous people, it’s a trope in movies.
The lives of cats are practically dedicated to lounging and being cool.

And cats seem so wise like that, because they are
